Ambassador Profile

How long have you been in the sport for?

13 years.

Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully still doing what I love doing on 2 wheels.

Who inspires you?

Many people, but to name a few; Danny Macaskill for his creative lines, Josh Bryceland for his effortless speed, and Martin Ashton because even after becoming paralysed from the waist down he is a still an inspiration for hundreds of people including me.

What has been your biggest achievement and biggest fail to date?

My biggest achievement has been meeting tonnes of really cool people from all walks of life from the MTB world. My biggest fails? I have had a few good crashes and put myself out now and then, like anyone in the sport.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to get into your sport?

Just have fun and ride as much as you can. Don’t let things like crashing put you off. It happens to the best of us.

What are your favourite and worst parts of the sport?

My favourite part is being able to go anywhere in the world and be treated as family in the cycle world – everyone just clicks and gets along.

There aren’t many not-so-good points of the sport but it can be expensive at times.
